Celebrate the much-anticipated release of the new Kakande album. This 9-piece NYC-based West African band shows how the balafon (xylophone) has electrified African music for 800 years. Lush vocals, flutes, sinewy guitars, cellos and countless textures are propelled by the power of Famoro Dioubate's balafon virtuosity.


To mark the album release Kakande will be appearing with special guest Mory Kanté, the legendary West African singer and kora player, who has not played in the U.S. in over 3 years. Don't miss this very special event!
